Maintenance for the Valco Melton system is minimal with cleanup only taking a few minutes. The “quick-disconnect” applicator head is simply removed and flushed with water. Clean up of the open paste pot, paste belt, and glue from surrounding areas is eliminated. The system uses resin or dextrin adhesive from the same formulation used on case sealers/cartoners, allowing for a more economical adhesive buy.
