Valco Melton’s SealTak™ deferred-use sealing system simplifies the sealing process by eliminating the need for double-sided pressure sensitive tape. Valco Melton’s system precisely deposits a pressure sensitive hot-melt glue pattern in length, width, and volume directly onto the converted product as it is fed through the folder. A release liner is fed through the “Accumulator” to the liner’s applicator head and deposited onto the adhesive just downstream from the gluing area.
The Sealtak™ system uses large diameter rolls of silicone release liner and has significantly less machine stoppage compared to double sided tape. This results in producing more product with less down time.
